Aprio Expands Expertise with Dual Acquisition

Aprio, the accounting and advisory services firm known for its acquisition of Aronson in 2023, has broadened its reach in the government and other sectors with the recent purchase of two businesses. These acquisitions underscore Aprio's strategic focus on expanding its presence in GovCon and the commercial aerospace industry. One acquisition involves Nextfed, a company established in 2011, which enhances Aprio's capabilities in business development, proposal strategy, and post-merger integration in the GovCon space. Key executives from Nextfed, including Aaron Myers, Josh Myers, Timothy Reardon, and Brian Sweeney, are set to join Aprio as partners. G Squared Capital Partners served as the advisor for Nextfed in this transaction. Simultaneously, Aprio has acquired OConnor Consulting Services, which specializes in financial advisory and litigation support, particularly for nonprofit entities. The McLean Group advised on this acquisition. These moves highlight Aprio's commitment to bolster its service offerings across multiple verticals, leveraging expertise in complex disputes, fraud investigations, and economic damage assessments.
