Apollo Funds Acquires European Colocation Business from STACK Infrastructure
Deal News | Apr 29, 2025 | Globenewswire
Apollo Global Management has announced an agreement for its infrastructure funds to acquire European colocation data centers from STACK Infrastructure, a company under Blue Owl Digital Infrastructure Advisors LLC. This carve-out transaction encompasses seven strategically located data centers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Italy, and Switzerland. The acquisition aims to leverage Apollo's resource pool to enhance the company's growth trajectory in the data center market amidst growing demand. The existing management team will transition with the business, which will rebrand away from the STACK name. This strategic divestment aligns with STACK's renewed focus on hyperscale data center clients. The completion of the transaction is pending regulatory approval. Legal advisement for Apollo was provided by Latham & Watkins LLP.
