Alvarez & Marsal Hires Patrick Daoust as Managing Director in Montreal

Alvarez & Marsal, a prominent management consulting firm based in New York, has appointed Patrick Daoust as a managing director within its Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) located in Montreal. Daoust, who brings nearly 25 years of expertise in the mergers and acquisitions sector, has specialized in operational due diligence and performance improvement for private equity and corporate transactions across Canada and the United States. His industry experience spans sectors such as aerospace, industrials, business services, and consumer products. Previously, Daoust served as a partner at Roland Berger and held similar roles at Oliver Wyman and Accenture. His career in consulting commenced at Deloitte. According to Scott Foster, head of TAG in Canada, Daoust's diverse experience will enhance A&M's ability to deliver client-focused, value-driven solutions in an expanding Canadian market. A&M’s global TAG, being the largest practice outside of the Big Four, includes over 1,000 professionals across 40 offices, aiding a variety of acquirers including private equity, family offices, and corporations. The firm offers a range of services including advisory, business performance improvement, and turnaround management with over 11,000 employees globally.
