Alpine Eagle Raises €10.25 Million for Counter-Drone Defence Development

Alpine Eagle, a leading European defence tech startup, has successfully raised €10.25 million in seed funding, led by IQ Capital along with HTGF, Expeditions Fund, and Sentris Capital. The funds are earmarked for developing Alpine Eagle's flagship product Sentinel, enhancing their commercial teams, and setting the stage for international expansion. Founded in 2023 by CEO Jan-Hendrik Boelens and Director Timo Breuer, Alpine Eagle has pioneered the world's first air-to-air counter-drone system. The system integrates machine learning, advanced sensors, and computer vision to detect, classify, and neutralise hostile drones. The rise in military drone use amid global conflicts has underscored the need for such countermeasures. Alpine Eagle has already attracted significant customers, including the German military, and aims to defend against autonomous warfare threats through scalable and affordable technology solutions. IQ Capital's partner, Archie Muirhead, praised the founders for their technological innovation and dedication to customer needs.
