Agthia Group PJSC, based in Abu Dhabi, has acquired Riviere Mineral Water Desalination & Filling Factory LLC. This acquisition is aimed at strengthening Agthia's market leadership in the UAE's bottled water sector, specifically within the home and office services segment. The acquisition has expanded Agthia's Water & Food Segment by 6.5% while tripling its household customer base. The acquisition is also expected to be immediately accretive to Agthia's earnings, providing both short and long-term value through cost synergies, streamlined operations, and shared capabilities. By retaining the Riviere brand, Agthia acknowledges the strong market presence and customer loyalty Riviere has built. The integration process will be managed smoothly with Riviere's existing management team to ensure business continuity.
