Norway's marketplace operator Adevinta has completed a significant cloud migration to Amazon Web Services (AWS), marking a pivotal transformation since its acquisition of eBay Classifieds in 2021. This move involved transitioning over 20,000 virtual assets from on-premise solutions to AWS, enabling Adevinta to adopt a modern cloud-operating model. The business transformation saw the training and certification of over 500 developers on AWS, facilitated by a partnership with Deloitte. The integration aimed not only to align operational models but also to foster innovation, enhance user experience, and streamline product development and market introduction.
