Accenture, a global consultancy firm, has expanded its infrastructure and capital projects division through the acquisition of Soben, a Glasgow-based construction consultancy specializing in data centre development and the pharmaceutical and energy sectors. The acquisition aims to enhance Accenture's expertise in advisory, project, cost, and commercial management services, while allowing Soben to continue its disruptive influence in the construction consultancy market. Soben, established in 2011, has grown to be a key player in capital projects across Europe and North America. Bamburgh Capital, a corporate finance advisory firm, facilitated the transaction, providing strategic guidance, negotiating the deal, and managing due diligence to ensure a successful outcome for both parties.
