This collaboration builds on their existing relationship and expands AlpInvest’s portfolio finance strategy, which began in 2018. Within this context, AlpInvest has already facilitated about $4 billion worth of transactions in this sector, cementing its position as a leader. For Mubadala, the partnership is a step forward in diversifying its investment avenues into senior loans, adding to its portfolio that includes real estate debt, infrastructure, and technology financing. Both companies aim to leverage their combined expertise to provide innovative financial solutions for private equity funds, abiding by the Institutional Limited Partners Association's guidelines.
